  • We stayed two nights at this specific hotel, one week apart, on our way to and from our destination. The rooms both times were clean and comfortable, the front desk staff friendly and willing to accommodate us, especially Amanda who completed the wine tasting demonstration. The breakfast was hot and plentiful and well stocked with a variety of items. She also took good care of us and indicated where we could leave our truck and trailer for the week. When we got back, no problems and nothing had been touched.

  • Check in was easy, the room was clean (much cleaner than I expected for an $80 room), and the breakfast was satisfactory. Included a fridge, iron, etc.

    If we needed to stay overnight in St. James again, we would not hesitate to book here again.

    I don’t know how “green” this hotel actually is, or if it just happens to be the name. They had soaps that were in recycled packaging, but beyond that, I didn’t notice anything obvious that was sustainable or eco-friendly. Just your standard hotel room!

  • I stayed here with 3 friends. The beds were comfortable. The rooms very clean. This is a must for me. The staff was extremely helpful and nice to talk to. Breakfast was amazing! This whole package was a sweet deal. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting an affordable, clean and comfortable place to stay.

  • In our first stay with Greenstay my wife and I were very pleased. The front desk personnel were courteous, friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at a lot of hotel chains in our 30+ years of marriage but my wife remarked this was one of the nicer rooms we have experienced. The room was clean and quiet and the free wi-fi was a nice bonus. The breakfast bar had a nice selection of items to choose from and everything seemed fresh and tasty. Overall we considered our stay a good value. The only suggestion (not a complaint) is that it would be nice to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We will definitely look for Greenstay on future trips and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a good place to stay.

  • This hotel is one of the best in the country for the dollar spent. I try to use GreenStay every time I come through Springfield Mo. It is always clean and the staff very friendly and can give good advice on directions and food establishments. It is close to interstate highway. I highly recommend GreenStay if you staying in Springfield Missouri or just passing through. You will not be disappointed.

  • I did not stay in this hotel but prevailed upon them to allow me to use their Tesla Charger to charge my car when I found myself with only 55 miles left.

    The front desk person and manager, Jeff, were both very understanding and let me leave my car there to get a full 8 hour charge! The lobby was beautiful and the breakfast area, warm and inviting.

    The Best Western I had a prepaid room with, refused to allow me to charge the car at their other location even though they are owned by the same person.

    The next time my husband and I are in town, we will definitely stay here.
